In its most rigorous form granite cobbles is a geologic term for a rock or rock fragment with a grain size with dimensions between 64-256mm. Rounded cobble sized rocks are used as a construction material for road and street surfacing, pathways, pavements and for landscaping.
Widely used for building and in monument, Granite generally refers to a common, light colored, coarse-grainded, hard igneous rock comprising chiefly of quartz, orthoclase or microline, and mica. Ordinary granite usually carries a small amount of plagioclase, but when there is a lack of the rock is referred to as alkali granite.
Granite cobbles requires little maintenance and no paint and these are fireproofs. It is a naturally rounded paving stone, which is larger than a pebble and smaller than a boulder. These are available in different sizes and colors. Granite cobbles are used for various interior designing purposes and for other exterior ornamentation as well.
